sweet I saw a few paddocks on the way to warnambool that looked butter flat, it was tempting to pull over and have a quick kite beside the HWY, i figured it would just give the farmer some target practice.

Lol .... I'm not suggesting that they are all rednecks ( $hit I am probably more of a redneck with the Aussie flag proudly flying off my UHF antenna and an Engel full of coopers in the back ) but you go and tresspass and fly a large bright kite on their property and see how warm the reception you get is !

I'm not sure you can have it both ways sleek. You're sometimes pretty quick to characterise city folk as all being limp-wristed nancys/show-ponies/latte-set. Maybe you're a wonderful hospitable guy in person but on the forums you do sometimes come across as an easily-angered and somewhat judgemental type.

Perhaps just a rough diamond, in which case I'm glad to see your softer side occasionally showing through.

Disclaimer: I grew up near Taree, I know a bit about the best and worst of farmers' attitudes.

reception= look of awe and invite for a cuppa or beer depending what time of day.same with winching.

pffft.....Hobby farm or winery maybe ! I have never known a real farmer who was not put out by trespassing !

But potter knows everything sleek, notice the time between posts are used to google everything..
Check his google history it'll show searches such as
"how to kite"
"where to kite"
"what is wind"
"how to annoy"

Just do what everyone else seems to do and ignore.. He is constantly looking for controversy
