Hey Sam,
Bummer bro, gotta love that hollow feeling when it hits home that you've lost all youre gear.... you could try SHQ rosebud and see if anything has been handed in, I had a kite board picked up by a beach walker who thought it was a strayboard.
I put up a sign on pt nepean road, big white sign with 3 words- lost kite board(with my contact detaisl below), you could read it from a couple of hundred metres away, day or two later go a couple of calls about a old boy seen walking home with a board, went to the address, got the board.
You can get the sign from Bunning and use one of those big black artline pens,
then monitor seabreeze, gumtree, and ebay, and contact cash converters...and really important register the gear as lost/ stolen with the cops, if the gear comes up claim it.
I would even put up lost and found ads on gumtree if possible, I also put a ad in the local leader...the highway sign was the trick.

Hey mate,
Thanks for the reply. Have spoken to Rosebud police who are going to give me the heads up if something comes in.
From Adelaide so can't really do the sign thing, but thanks for the advice.
Will keep an eye out on here and hope for the best. Also hoping it will be covered under home and contents insurance, fingers crossed!
Cheers!
