I used to live in Albury and back then was windsurfing but never bothered cuz it was always too gusty - BUT just as I left there I heard about the fone winds that rip down the Tallengatta Valley in the early morning (dies out as the morning warms up )- apparently ideal but I never knew about them at the time. If I was in the are now I would be checking that unusual wind phenomena out to see how kiteable it is :-) - you need to check out the Tallangatta arm of Hume on the Vic side !
