I'm going to a mates beach house in Lorne next weekend. Saturday looks like it could bring some solid southerly wind but I've never seen any kites out there. Is there any reason for this? Has anyone tried kiting in that area (or anywhere nearby other than torquey)

Anglesea, Lorne, Fairhaven, Apollo Bay, Skenes....heaps of places to kite and not that much population so rarely do you run into other kiters....
