Yesterdays 35kts squall at 3pm? Where did you lose it?

For anybody reading this in future call Geelong Coast Guard (5278 8440) as they will come out with a boat and (as long as your kite is inflated) its easy to find it on the water. They want to find kites to prevent them from fouling the props of ships into Geelong port.

This happened to me and another guy a couple of months ago, the Coast Guard found his board and my kite within 15 minutes.

So did you find it mate? Geesus... I cant imagine anyone finding it anf say YAY a free kite unless they are a kiter. Most likely it's at the G CashConvertors.

Well I'm yet to get my kite back but have just found out that it has been found and is in safe hands.
Old mate Greg who works at the explosive barracks at point wilson went to the effort of putting up a ad in the local Geelong paper to find out the owner. He also lodged a report with the Geelong Police and even looked up the local distributor for Ozone (Kitepower Geelong) to see if they could match serial number to a name. What a top bloke!!! The man drinks whisky and a fine whisky he will get!
