Information about Marlos Inlet
I am looking for information about kite boarding at Marlos Inlet.
Does anyone know the best wind directions to go there on?
Is Marlos Inlet tidal and does it work better at low tide?
What is the best forecast to look at for Marlos Inlet?
Is it possible cross from the inlet to the surf beach?
Will be there mid next week and just trying to organise myself for the best conditions!
Thanks everyone appreciate your feedback

Well there are tides there that do affect the water state. If wind is against the tide its very choppy thats all, fairly deep inlet, shallow near the entrance. Near the entrance you will be guaranteed a good time, but you need to be very competent. If your kite goes down in an outgoing tide in the entrance (surf) it can be very very challenging.

Sounds very similar to kite boarding at Inverloch where the inlet meets the surf. It makes sense what you were saying about the tide and I assume this can work to your advantage on different wind directions.
Does this place get crowded? Sounds great with the flat water and surf!
