Hi, sort of have two questions...
1. I am aware that basically the wind patterns in Melbourne are basically predominant southerly sea breezes in summer and notherlies in winter. I am just wondering if in autumn/spring there are predominant winds and what those might be and how the wind shifts direction, if directions starts to swing or if it gradually changes to northerly more frequently? Basically what are the general patterns of winds thru the year/seasons in Port Phillip Bay?

2. The reason I ask is cause I shall be moving to Dandenong and it looks like SW winds will be the best winds between Mentone and Aspendale which is where I will be kiting, southerlies seem too cross shore (for my level of kiting at this stage, need cross on) from what I can see on the map. What winds are best between Mentone and Aspendale, are there any areas that are ok in southerlies or would I be limited to SW and NW?
