Yeah I doubt it. Sounds like a long shot at this stage. If they were keen, they need to get on with it now so they can open for summer.

Obviously $$ and negotiations would most likely be the reason why nothing's been done yet.

We've tried all this with the Altona lake area hosting a 2 way cable system. KSS went to meetings, I went to meet the Mayor, etc... yeah it all sounds great on paper... but when it comes to the spending side of things - it's enjoy the silence moment.

The only way it will happen is for a cashed up investor, developer or family to just give it a go!

Cairns Cable Park started like that and it's been a successful business for years now. Same lady runs the shop with her sons and family in tow (pun unintended)

So at Patterson river where the ski ramp, drag boat racing happens (or not), last time I was there saw a bunch of old blokes racing remote controlled yachts seems to be the only action happening there these days.

Otherwise ideal spot for a cable park, some infrastructure already there (and not far from me!)
