This thread is for those of you interested in downwinders over next couple of months...

Im happy to provide independent KITERS I ride upwind in return for a ride back to vehicle afterwards.

or even better if can rope a legend into driving...

Ultimately this is training for across the bay, I want to go fast rather than fluff around.

Been doing speed runs from different points along the bay and I'm happy to share the Stoke....

Which downwinders do you typically do? I've done Port Melbourne - Frankston last year for ATB and it was epic. I'd rather go long distance as the ride back is always a pita if you need to take the tram. 2h on the water and 3h on public transport with dripping gear. Aspendale - Frankston has good train connection but is too short.

Driving is something else...I'd be game

I'd be in even have a place for a few to crash at Rye even for a NE or NW side to side rosebud-sorento this summer, but I'm not as lucky to get week days off it would have to be a weekender.

Only get in 1-2hrs after work sesh but got wheels and can Cary 4 crew if it's a short down winder

Tomorrow looks good for a kite...

Ill be at St Kilda from around 10am, and if its looks good for a downwinder will prob leave from TheZu at around 10:30am....

Might push it out depending on what the wind looks like in the morning, but will be before lunch....
