Given that the weekend has already been cursed, does anyone want to weigh on the debate as to whether Point Henry is worth a look in a Northerly compared to Rye / Rosebud. I love the latter, but not when the tide is out. Is Point Henry a better option at low tide?

Yes, shaping up for the weekend.
Low tide at Geelong is at 11.00am on Sunday, and its a low, low tide. Someone told me that Point henry not so good at low tide due to weed. Can anyone shed some light?

if its a low, low tide at henry the weed beds are exposed so you have to kite the chop out the back. 1/2 tide plus better.
Also found henry to be in a vacuum with the northerlies, so good when its on but often nothing when everywhere else is honking[}:)]

Thanks for that fattso.
It might be the other end of the bay for us tomorrow then.
Cheers
