Was wondering if anyone knew of a place to rent for 6 months? Keen to kite or snowboard in spare time. If anyone could help me out that would be awesome.
Hi mate, if your like most lay back easy going Tasmanians you would prob better off going south to Aspendale,seaford Frankston way.If you go Stkilda it will take em 6 months to talk to you.Plus rent will be cheaper. Even Altona used to be pretty laid back.This is just from my exp.Aspendale is pretty good for wind too. Kite from Northely,Frankston too S.E, rikkets. Unless you like cross dressing then Stkilda will be paradise for you.
Cheers sleek, will smash the pedals to work so keen on something in the 10k sorta range. By the looks of it, it will be a fair ride from Aspendale... will tee something up.
it depends on how much you'd like to spend, there are some places in St. Kilda (small and cheapish, right on the beach) that have a huge turn around of people and you can easily get away with a 6month lease - expect a degree of boganism there.. (about 250-300pw for a small studio) Middle Park is a lot more settled (and more expensive) and you might not as easily get a 6month lease. Just moved from St. Kilda to Middle Park, same distance to West Beach for me (about 100 meters) just the other end of the beach.
