Hi,
Just wanted to say hi. Ive joined your forum to hopefully find out loads of info about the kite scene in Vic and to hopefully get to know some kite buddies.
We are visiting Victoria in July/August to suss out and sight probable places to move to in 2012. Wifes folks live in Melbourne but we have our sights on Lakes Entrance region.
I rekon im intermediate level, I also consider myself to be a safe, courteous and considerate rider.
I've had a ruck of kites but currently have a 9 & 12M Griffin (Monkey Kites). Boards are Litewave 148 and Madness 130 (ish).

G'day Bad Altitude (is that meant to be Attitude?)
I live (& Kite) in the "Lakes Entrance region", but sadly, work requires me to relocate to Melbourne in the next couple of weeks, so won't be around to roll out the welcome mat. Plenty of good spots. A flat water location for every wind direction in the Lakes system itself (Paynesville is a good starting point. Ask for Clint at the DVD hire shop) and numerous wave breaks along 90 mile beach. Marlo (mouth of the Snowy River) has an excellent combo of flat water and waves when the mouth is open. SE seabreezes in Summer (that's 6 months away), and predominately SW frontal wind if you're wanting to brave the winter cold. There's a small but very friendly bunch of kiters out here, so you'll soon be pointed in the right direction. Book in a trip to Merimbula in November for Mambo. Good time guaranteed.
P.S. house is on the market, if you're interested.
