Has anyone kited inside the river section past the bridge? Plenty of flat water but you'd need a dead S to SE?
Yep, plenty of times. It works ok on a Northerly and Southerly. Due to the shape of the river there are plenty of holes (where you will just drop out) but like every spot, you learn them and keep away. Mid to high on an incoming tide is best. Outgoing tide can be a problem if you drop your kite as the bridge would come into play.
Mind the power lines near the bridge though
