I agree with Harry and Saffer that it could get very crowded and dangerous in a warm day.
I've been concerned lately seeing some people giving lessons in front of the SLSC or beside the SOT. Too close to shore. I've heard people feeling threatens by the possibly of getting hit by a kite.
Up to this point most of us locals are trying to cause as little drama as possible and not to piss off dog walkers or public in general so, the authorities dont kick us out as it happend at the dog beach in Altona.
My best advice, launch and land in a place where you feel capable of being safe with others and try to move quickly to the back, away from swimmers. You'll find stronger winds and great waves!
