The change brought a CRAZY strong 5 minute gust.. about 40-45knots according to SeaBreeze..? The three guys still out all pulled their safety.. One guy trying to land had to eject his kite totally and was off running down the beach..
It was really-really nuts.
The clouds are the clue... Learn to read the clouds and you will be off the water and safe before those gusts hit, don't wait for them to reach you before coming in.
