all, KBV are pleased to have prepared this information for you.
We have had flyers printed (doubled sided envelope size)
We have provided to kite schools and shops etc .
The idea is for every Kiter to assist and help prevent accidents of both Kiters and general public, as the sport grows and more and more Kiters cram onto Victorian beaches.
Please have some in your car to hand out to Kiters at will.
You can grab some copies from any shop or I can post to you directly
Also see on KBV facebook and website, KBV.org.au

Thank you

And please dont leave kite bags and pumps all over the beach. there is no need for it, put it away in your car. if you dont have a car put it up against wall so your gear isn't in the way of other kiters trying to launch/land.

Northerlies at brighton is not a good time to teach so don't do it, your own putting yourselves and others in danger and your learning will be limited in those conditions.

Kite size, well have a look around if your beginning and you only have a 10-12m and everyone is on 8-9m then maybe its not such a good idea to go out, same as above your endangering yourself and others and you won't learn much.

When your downwind of someone, lower your kite! Forget the kite high rule, its the kite low rule
If you have your kite at 10oclock the person upwind has to have theirs at 12 and then what happens, they stop moving.

It gets very crowded out there some days and these things will help it be more enjoyable for all.

Maybe also add a note to check the location on the KBV website to ensure suitability for the rider's ability. I.e. so beginners know whether a place like rickets is suitable for a beginner
