Hey crew. Hoping someone can tell me the best time of year to catch the wind in Safety Beach. What's the best wind direction? And any areas to avoid ect? Any advice is muchly appreciated. ?????? cheers in advance

N NW wind direction but will be better if you drive to Rosebud. It is 15 minutes drive from safety beach. Winter is the best time and right now we have several days of North wind direction

Hey pkc.
Safety beach is a great spot if your into riding bay waves on a strong N.E to W winds. Not to much beach to launch of and land so got to be confident launching and landing. As castillojf said Rosebud is good, but small waves. Mccrae yatch club has plenty of beach to launch of and the waves out the back are pretty good. hope this helps.
