I'm thinking about Safety Beach for Saturday 7th March. I've never been there before but it has a promising name. Any pointers? -beach width, rocks, etc... Thanks!

It used to be called shark bay before they changed it to safety beach

Narrow beach, power lines on the beach side for most of it. I kite there occasionally but only out of laziness as it's a walk across the road, I only kite there in cross shore wind (W - WNW), if it's too onshore it's a bitch getting out and a bit dangerous with the beach so narrow. If your making a drive there are defiantly better spots in the bay.

Thanks! Ended up having a pretty good day at Chelsea on a raceboard. I love being able to park at the yacht club right next to the beach. Just need to watch out for the inconsistent wind from the Westerlies!
