Whenever the winds are ballistic there is always someone who goes out in conditions beyond their skill level or a kite size too large so not sure why today should be any different? Maybe I'm just a pessimist...

That was me,... Although had enough mental skill to call it a day sharp ish! Violent gusts coupled with violent changes of direction,... Gotta love winter kiting.

what spot is this? always see so many vids and pics here and can never pinpoint it for the life of me. The answer is going to be something bleeding obvious and popular isn't it....

And that is why it will continue to remain empty.

NM! just googled it! Must check it out one of these days. And then invite a kite republic tour bus full of euros. And then invite them to bring their friends who have never kited so they can be taught there. And then invite the local dog owners club. Will be wearing a nice SAFFER name badge the whole time too :)

Its Brighton Dog beach, but its definitely not for beginners, and if you're not jumping and unhooking try not to go there as it is small, it gets gusty on a northerly and you can kite there but Middle Brighton is better, NW is the best direction. Try not to go in summer as it is the only place in the Brighton area where dog owners can let there dog off leash.

lots of stingrays and there is a really big drain there . James always gets sick if he kites there when it raining. Also tides got to be high or forget it.There are better bigger spots within 15 mins. get on google and look.
