Holidays are finally coming............ and I'm thinking how cool it would be to go somewhere remote and kite in a shallow desert lake of some sort....... sure I know its a stretch, but if you don't ask you don't find out.
Any one know if there is anything like this in Victoria? Ideal time to go if they do know? Prevailing winds etc?

lake Victoria on the murry just in NSW is fairly flat area. access is a pain though, and will depend on water levels
