Many thanks to the guys that helped me land as the massive gust hit. It was impressive for sure: I probably weigh 100kg incl. wetty, harness, impact vest, etc and the drag forces on my fully depowered 8m RPM were strong enough to drag me up the shore on my feet. Anyway, pretty good crew around, thumbs up!
Haha i weigh 55kg and i was on a 7 when the gust hit. I was sitting down on the beach and was getting lifted up. Slightly scary. And then i couldn't tell anyone to help me land because I couldn't get up and tell them. Gotta love the gusts!
