Hi All,

So I'm a beginner (issues with a ridiculously messed up kite bought second hand have really slowed my progress down ) and only have one 10m LF Havoc (I'm 80kg) at the moment although next year I'll be fully overhauling the kite situation and getting a couple new or near-new.

Anyway I noticed today there is a decent SW at St.Kilda around 22kn gusting usually a couple of knots above that. What I was wondering is how is St.Kilda in a SW and is it ok for beginners? (I don't think I'll be going today anyway because I'll be a tad overpowered)

Haha yeah Salt I think I'd changed my mind and piled everything into the car within 10 minutes of writing that post, it was pretty packed, I saw a three kite tangle with two school lessons and some other guy just before heading out but overall everyone was pretty well behaved.

My kite just kept folding up and stalling (10m Liquid Force Havoc 2007) I've had so many issues with it, it arrived to me (second hand of course) already with a leaky valve, put a new LE bladder in and it still flies like a brick, it just randomly decided to land even with it fully powered up at 2-3 o'clock. Christmas Switchblade I think
