First day going upwind on Thursday evening... Packed up my kite with the biggest smile on my face. today looks epic!

Well done! Took you long enough ;) normally takes one perfect wind day when your in the kites sweet spot

I've never ridden one but I've heard good feedback. Good price good kite and Melbourne has a good supply and service for best now

After having 3 kites for over a year(12 cab SB, 10 rebel, 6 rebel), I think on the bay you want a 12 and an 8. Most of the time the 12 will do, and on the windy days an 8 will go quite nicely.

I have been thinking about how to get into those really light wind days, and the best solution I have come up with has been to consider one of these:

You can get a 21, which can apparently get you going in 5kn

Unfortunately with the price tag it is probably something that will need some consideration... or a lotto ticket
