I broke my UJ (bit of plastic that connects the mast to the board and really is NOT SUPPOSED to break!) about a km off Middle Park last night.

A kiter saw me sat on my board and hacked over to check I was ok. All was good - it was just a farkin long swim in. Fortunately another poley came over and towed my rig in which made life easier.

Cheers though - good to know that people are looking out for each other out there.
