Just wondering what people thoughts are for waves this weekend.

The west coast charts are saying NW 30 knots with a solid SW swell.
Looking at the map, the coast north of Cape Otway would be cross shore the whole way to the border.

Just wondering on an idea on how the kiting and coastline is around here. I notice the 12 apostles is along this stretch; is most of this coast just massive cliff?

Cheers all.

Very few spots along that rugged coastline, you cannot get to the beach at 12 apostles. But there are a few secret legendary "secret" spots along the way.

Townships like Peterborough, Johanna, Princetown maybe port campbell have beaches and waves (for surfing)

Also looks like 3-4 foot at Torquay/Bells this weekend so that coastline is easily gets to 6-8 foot (ie 2x - 3x overhead) do you want to kite in that?

Monday looks like a Westerly so 13th beach near Barwon Heads might be the go.

you might also want to try gunnamatta/rye back beach, much closer to melb, works in a NW as a cross-off
