I see that Victorian number plates state that Victoria is the "Place to be"???...

In WA we get quite a good strong consistent wind.... Hence it is more relevant towards our WA number plates reading 'WA -The place to Be"....

I think that our number plates should take your motto, and replace yours with "Victoria ' Lovin the cold weather it make's us quite bitter'

Thoughts?

Go Go Go....

Yeah Can Suck at times, but we get..,

Wind all year round...at one point 15 Days straight of northerlies this year 25 to 35, and about 3 to 4 days a week across winter of good days.
Day light savings...can kite/surf after work.
Some awesome surf breaks,

We should move the W.A. kite population to Vic for a winter and see who's got the nuts to handle the cold.

I'm sure you wouldn't last long...cause youre only a nob.

How many kiters has WA put on the international scene? Nil? How's the scoreboard 2 to Qld (Yates, De Aboitiz) and 1 to Vicco (Jaspan)?

Since we get kiteable wind year round, we don't find the need to gloat all the time.

Oh dear... You know how to hurt a dudes feelings..

Look here you Mexican pussies, come and have a crack on our 4 or 5 meter great whites. Perfect for you Victorian body drag graduates getting pumped out of kite republic!

Wah wah wah.. The water may be cold but there are plenty of top notch wetsuits to wear under your boardies I guess!!!

We should send over our very own waveslave and old matey kite review guru Eppo to show you how to do dingle dangle backroll and lawn mowing!

Think your facts are a little off check down south, Cape naturalist was 30 to 35 this arvo. By the way we use knots not kmh over here due to his windy it gets!

Annual mean windspeed. They've taken the daily windspeed at 3pm and averaged it out over the year. See the link.

I must admit WA has some cool places to surf and kite. Good beer too "Little Creatures".

BUT, Year round wind and waves has to be Victoria.

ALSO, I did a WA trip in 2003 and I was there for 6 weeks, In December to Jan. I surfed a fair bit but we only got 4 days of good wind. I did love the relaxed nature of the place.

WA is just getting Sunday trading. Perth seems at times to be like a big country town.

Victoria number plates suck. It should be "4 seasons in 1 day".
