The Victorian State Titles are on track for Sat/Sun 21/22 November at West Beach, St Kilda - will you be participating??

If so, download the enrolment form from the KBV web site [ABOUT KBV/MINUTES & REPORTS/FORMS/2009-10_State_Titles_Enrolment_Form.pdf] , fill it in and mail it back to us as soon as possible - we need enrolments back to us by Friday 2oth to enable us to set up the competition draws - late enrolments made on the day will be accepted but you place in the draw will be last-minute luck.

Form mail address is: KBV, P O Box 168, Caulfield South, VIC 3162.

This year the competion will include the standard events (Mens Open, Womens Open, Juniors (<18) and Masters (> 35)) as well as an open Big Air competition. The Big Air competition will cost $10 to enter - the money going towards a "winner-takes-all" prize pool.

Just a reminder that to participate in the State Titles you must be a KBV/AKSA Member and if you wish to use the titles to qualify for the Nationals (as a Victorian participant), you must also be resident in Victoria.

Have faith Ewen.

That said, BOM is being a bit negative at the moment...
BOM Port Phillip Forecast
Forecast for Saturday
Winds: Southwesterly 5 to 10 knots becoming light later in the evening. Seas: Below 0.5 metres. The chance of thunderstorms in the morning.

Forecast for Sunday
Winds: Southeast to southwesterly 5 to 10 knots becoming southwest to southerly 10 to 20 knots during the morning. Seas: Below 0.5 metres.

The Marine Wind Forecast chart shows some nice 25-30kn SW hitting the north end of the bay at ~11am on Sunday though... so might be ok.

What is the deal if it's too light? What's defines too light?
