I've got Friday through Sunday in the Inverloch area, I've kited the inlet once in what I think was a southerly and it was fantastic. Just wondering if there's anywhere I can get out on a northerly based on Friday's current forecast:

Winds north to northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h tending north to northwesterly 35 to 50 km/h in the morning then shifting cooler south to southwesterly 25 to 35 km/h in the evening

(Knowing when the change is coming through would be helpful but that's hard to pick.)

Is Sandy Point the closest option or can you kite in a northerly somewhere closer to Inverloch?

Thanks for any info.

(Oh and if you see a guy screaming with glee on a brand new Ocean Rodeo kite, say hello, that's me.)

Sandy is closest spot on north. Based on below forecast - sounds like change will be coming in the EVENING.

Not sure about sandy in NW (you may need to go to other side of inlet?)

Or Cowes / Silverleaves on Phillip Island.
That's my plan for tommorrow.
