Hi Melbourne crew, I'm after some smaller fins in good condition for my shinn twin. (Yes I'll put something in the wanted ads, though who ever looks there?)
Feeling a bit too poor to shell out for new at the moment so looking to buy your too small fins for cheapish or trade my excellent condition nobile 55mm fins for your set.
Standard inch and a half/38mm hole spacing. No brand preferences (though it would hurt to screw cab fins onto such a noble board). Between 30-40mm depending on length/style.
Please PM me if you've got something to fit this bill,
Cheers, dojo.

Don't have any for you but sounds like a good move. I ride a lunacy and switching to the 0.75" wake fins was a good move.
See what you can get - I'd be trying for more around 30mm.

I know a few people who have just taken an angle grinder to their stock fins and they're happy with the results. If your not interested in using the 55's again, why not just give it a shot. At least that way you can just keep on trimming until they're short enough for your liking.

yep, i used to do much fin r+d as a sponsored windsurfer many years ago so i've had some experience at foiling, but g10 is pretty nasty stuff. i used also to laminate epoxy sailboards so my cumulative toxin exposure is pretty high and every extra epoxy molecule i can avoid i shall. still, i'll see what comes up, and perhaps could do most of the shaping at a coarser level with a rasp and wet-sand the fine tuning to minimise particle and out-gassing exposure.
still hoping that someone has a disused set of fins ready to go though...
