Hi All,

I will move shortly to Melbourne. I had already the occasion to test the amazing consistency of the thermal days in St Kilda.

of course, as much as I love freestyle, I'm getting more and more committed to wave riding.

can anybody list the spots where kitesurfing wave riding is allowed? which are the conditions of waves and wind?
I could not find much so far.

appreciated and see you soon!

is allow everywhere but respect the surfers and the swimmers. try to go when is low tide because in the west coast there is no place to launch the kite when is high tide. Except for a few places and you will get to know them as you drive up and down the coast.
kiting in the surf is a lot more difficult. Start at ocean grove at low tide . Most of the time the wind is onshore. Point Danger and 13th beach is the next level. cheers

You can kite East and west coast subject to wind direction and swell But need to keep away from Life savers patroled beaches mainly in summer
