Where can i go to get some waves in the SW winds next week?
Been getting used to bay waves the last 6 months and ready to make the
move into bigger ones.

Anyone heading to Point Leo or something

TIA

Max

Go to Torquay - Point Danger my friend in a SW...

Depends on the swell and make sure you are confident enough to self launch and land.

13th Beach is also good depending on tide.

Have fun

Anywhere from Balnarring to Flinders, either side of the high tide.

Enjoy

too much westerly Monday and not enough swell for westernport Tuesday unless you are on Phillip island side ( maybe a wave around flynns or right point small though ).. 13th beach will be your best bet.

13th beach wind direction is from the east to nw wind direction. Point Danger has a strong current that will take you away from the shore line if you can't relaunch the kite. Also lost of rocks and difficult to launch but it is great place for kite on waves (e,s,se,s,sw,w). I like Ocean Grove because it doesn't have rock , is shallow and lots of space when the tide is low. The wind must be from the S or SE. Point impossible is good but a few rocks when the tide is low. Bancora is another good spot (e to SW) West from Torquey you have a few long sandy spots that most people don't see the potential but is a longer car ride. Next time there is a SW front and is the weekend send me a PM.

Cheers for all the advice!

Thanks castillo, will do.

Looks like the forecast has shifted anyway.

When the seabreeze comes of an arvo over summer
Is it sweet to go to gunna? Or even rye? Does it stay
Pretty small when the seabreeze comes through? Not super
Keen for 6ft onshore bombs.
