Do a search for wetsuits in Victoria. There have been a couple of posts including some cheap overseas sites to buy from

Haven't had too many problems with the wetsuit posts and that oddly enough. Here is the post I was referring to

I'm happy to buy kites and boards locally but wetsuits are way overpriced here. You can land a wetsuit faster than someone can ship it in Australia for roughly half the price.

Only thing worth adding to that post is since then rip curl have come out with new wetsuit
Called F bomb which supposedly drys in 15min! DOnt have it personally but do like the sound of not putting on a wet wetsuit the next day..

I have an f-bomb, for the 2nd season now, and it does not dry any quicker then the e-bomb or any other wetsuit. Load of marketing c**p - or have this years f-bomb been improved?
BUT it keeps me warm and is very stretchy and more comfortable than any other thick steamer i ever had.

BUR4K, there is a Rip Curl outlet store in Torquay, you can find fairly good priced stuff there every now and then. For Winter i'd go for a 3/4mm or 3/5mm and booties help a lot, shorty for summer.

I got a rip curl f bomb 2011 chest zip and it's ****. Neck has stretched after one winter season and seals are cracking. Always wash it after every sesh and never left out in sun. Bought a npx assassin 2012 and it's awesome. It's got a nice high neck line so no flushing. I initially bought a medium but it's slightly too big for me. I'm selling it for 300, brand new, never touched water, still with tags, check my ad if you're keen. Cheers

No, I like my f-bomb. I guess the quick dry thing must be new to 2012. A store guy is probably in a better position to say if that's true. I don't follow the development of new material until a need something new. So that quick-dry could be fantastic.

But I thought the e/f bomb naming was based around the type of neoprene used, so if they have a new quick-dry neoprene i would assume they would change the letter to some-other-bomb.

Its new for 2012....... I bought one for my missus as she hates the cold.
The quick dry is ok all it really does is feel dry on the inside as it has the micro fibe towelling stuff inside.
takes about 30min to feel dry but you have to leave it inside out

My 2011 f bomb takes about 4 days to dry. I won't be buying rip curl again... If I didn't have an npx suit I'd get a west one for sure. They look the goods!

Here is tip for drying your wetsuit ( especially good when you have a morning session then lunch before an arvo session )

Turn you wettie inside out
Lay your towel out flat
Lay your wetsuit on top of your towel
Now roll your towel and wetsuit together starting at the legs ( roll it tight )

When you unroll it leave it out for 5min for extra effect
Then leave your towel spread out on the seat, dash or hanging from the car so it's dry after your arvo session.

Come in to KSS in Altona and try the latest Xcel and Quicksilver wetsuits on.
We have just received the latest in the QS range plus have a few other lower cost suits.
Also the neo goo booties and gloves.
