is that place ever open???

when i first saw the West Beach Pavillion getting renovated, i was salivating at what a cool hang out it could be, constantly turning over a chilled out happy crowd of kiters waiting for wind and doing their favourite non-wind activity of talking about their favourite windy activity and having a few beers with a guy on a guitar and didge in the corner and becoming an iconic representation and the core of the Vic kite community... serving some frosty pints to tired but smiling stoked kiters after a great day out...
guaranteed crowd, easy to manage (we arent exactly the 'glass-in-face' types), happy, friendly....
my entreprenuerial juices just cant stop... imagine what you could do with that site...

anyway.

WHERES THE FKKKKKN BEER!!!!!!!

is this place actually going to operate or what?? if not, is it not a complete shame and missed opportunity?!!? should the licence have been granted to the brains behind LaRoche... Vineyard... Republica....???? who is holding back this perfect venue from being the best place to hang out in St Kilda!??!?!? why???? why why???

i dont understand

The Liquor Licence finally came through this week so you can now get a cold one at West Beach Bathers Pavilion.
