Hi guys,
Heading down to Rye/Rosebud for Thursday. Looking forward to it as great spot. Can anyone suggest best place (if any) in a westerly - based on current forecast for Friday. Normally we hit Rye for a couple of days in Northerly and head home but we appear to be going to be a day late.

Rosebud can work on a westerly, as long as there is no south in it.
Try the back beaches for some waves, or head up along the bay towards Mt Martha. There are a few spots between Rosebud and Mt Martha, and there is a long stretch between Frankston and Mentone with plenty of places to kite. If you get close to Melbourne there is Hampton and Brighton which are good. I wouldn't bother going to St.Kilda on a westerly.
Another option Nobbies on Phillip Island.
