I have an easy day at work tomorrow and should be finished at 12pm. I want to head out for some practice. I'm very much a beginner (just about up and riding but not upwind) any ideas where would be good to go? I will be down in point Lonsdale for work but heading back to St Kilda after. Anybody kited St Leonard's? If so is it good for someone at my level. Any other suggestions?

Jimbo, head to RAAFS beach in ocean grove. You park at the ocean grove side of the bridge and kite the inlet in an easterly. Tides up at noon so beach will be scares. Enjoy!

On you way back to the city you can stop at Altona. Go to Apex area at the west side of the beach.
