I've had a look and there's not many options for an easterly.... I was gonna head to Phillip island to see if it's any good down there. I also saw on Peter's blog that Menton might be okay?

Nothing closer to Melbourne?

It's a bit of a drive to get there and find there is no wind :)

Altona people in a SSE. Do not go there unless you are a Intermediate and above (Powerlines and Trees hurt people and gear).

Balnarring on east side great for any kiter (make sure you rig up past the yacht club and not on the main beach).

If you guys are going as far as Phillip Island go to Inverloch instead flat water in the inlet and waves out the back.

Altona in a SE at high tide = magic!
Altona on a weekend with good wind when the rest of the week has been pretty crap and you can expect 60 kites and 45 of them noobs = I'm taking the chance and driving to Inverloch
