Hi fellow surfers.
I am going to stay in Melbourne from 18th December to 11 January, travelling from Sweden.
What are the winds like during that time? I have a size 12 and an 8. I want to bring both but the weight limits on luggage stops me..

In summer we mostly kite in winds of around 15-20 knots. So bring the 12. I usually use my 13. Like yesterday for example. And looks like today, tomorrow and sunday it will also get a good workout :D 15-20 forecast for next 3 days

It ranges. 12m most days with the odd 9m day. if you have a 12 and a 9, bring both, if you only have room for one, bring the 12.
This summer seems to be going the same way of the last one, lots of light wind.

Yes, I recommend the 12m too. Lightish winds so far, and even in a good year there would be more lighter wind days than strong wind ones.
