We had a really strong front roll through Adelaide yesterday afternoon, gusting to 40 KTS. Not too bad, but had a look at Melbourne, and I really hope that nobody was out on the water around six o"clock yesterday!
Thanks for your concern but even blind Freddy could see that storm front coming from miles off. It was probably fortunate that there was not much wind beforehand so no accidents I know of (then again Vic ones are hardly ever posted).
