Hi everyone, I am Dominykas, a kiteboarder from Lithuania. I am coming with a friend to study in University of Ballarat for half a year, from Feb to August.

I wanted to know what kind of conditions should we expect for that time period. :)

Also, as we are going to have a studying visa, maybe anyone know any part-time job available that would not interfere much with studies, kiteboarding and traveling. :) We are studying Economics and Politics BA 3rd year, perspective, reliable students :)

Thanks!
Dom.

hey dom, I'm currently living and was studying in ballarat. Its great uni life up here, will you be living on res? There isn't anywhere to kite in ballarat unless you want to kite some of the lakes around town.
It is a 45-60 min drive from ballarat to geelong/torquay where these is good kiteboarding. If you don't have a car then there is a bus to geelong or a train to melbourne where you could take all your gear. Feb is coming towards the end of our wind season but you can get good winds for quite a while.
Most people 70-80kg have a 12m and 9m which covers them for most sessions
