hey everyone my name is Anthony morrison brother of Tristan Morrison who passed away at st kilda beach November 2010 I was just googling and came across a topic of his death on your forums! I would just like to say thankyou to the people that helped him that day if it wasn't for you we wouldn't have got the chance to see him and say goodbye to him in the hospital!! to everyone who sent there condolences thankyou aswell!! we have only recently recieved his kiteboard from police and after seeing it I think I want to take it up and see the fun Tristan was experiencing before he died! I'm hopefully planning a trip down from Sydney in the coming months and would like to see a few of u kiteboarding at st kilda and take a few photos maybe have a lesson!! once again to all the people who helped a big thankyou from myself and my family!! be safe!!

May be remembering some facts incorrectly but I was there that day. I still remember a few guys pulling him from the water and the medics frantically giving him CPR and intubating him on the beach. I remember thinking to myself that there was no way they were going to get him back and then remember hearing one of them going "he's got a rhythm."
Sometimes I think loved ones have a way of hanging on just long enough in the manner you described to allow everyone important to say their goodbyes. Glad to hear he had loved ones that cared for him and that they managed to make it out.
Major condolences to you and your family! If you do make it down this way I'll have a beer waiting for you in honor of your brother, who I unfortunately never had the chance to meet in happier circumstances.
