I was wondering who is the rider flying a green and white kite wearing a blue hat yesterday 22/04/11 at brighton beach who destroy a cabrinah kite from a french guys by punching in the canopy of the kite because this blue hat rider didint manage to avoid this french guys doind body dragging upwind to get back to his board and got pisst at him and insulting him with racist behavior.
I was wondering how this kind behavior can even be possible and i feel ashame for him ans just hope this guys can realise it !

Not good. I really hope kitesurfing doesn't end up like the hassles you get in surfing lineups. Be nice guys, or piss off. We really don't want or need this type of agro.

Was this later in the arvo? I was there till about 2 and didn't see it. 2 guys tangled on the beach though - all OK. Being onshore lots of crossing paths and people downwind still keeping kites high when passing.
So the guy in the blue hat was in the wrong?

As a kiting community (and I speak also for the Kitebeach community) we certainly don't need aggressive/insulting behaviour to cover their lack of responsibility - its just "not good form".
