wind got a bit strong tonight while out there and I lost my board and ended up getting dragged a long way down wind in a cross shore ,gave up looking for board after some body dragging back and forwards and headed for the beach
by this stage there was no safe place to land ,rocks and cliffs no beach ,so I pull my safety where the kite would land about 40 meters from the shore in the water and planned to self rescue my way t the shore and pack it up the qr released and my bar went out of reach but the kite powered up even more if anything and I was getting pull up out of the water to waist height I pulled my way up to the bar to get it again and tried crashing the kite into the water to see if it would then release power it just got worse and worse in the end I had to release the entire kite and bar and swim for it as. Was running out of beach and heading for rocks why would the kite not flag out and is there a way to help it flag out
I want to get rid of this kite and bar now and go newer single front line flag but is this kite safe to sell or is the bar the problem
