Riding home from work along the beach bike path last night about 8pm or so, spotted a dark/lime green kite down and inverted in the water off Brighton Yacht Club, which i soon could tell had a person attached to it. They were drifting north...

After watching for a while as I rode along, I stopped and chatted with some others watching the drifting kite/person. By now they had drifted off Bay St and then eventually North Rd. As it was starting to get dark we phoned the fuzz...

Anyway... anyone know how things went in the end? Did they self rescue or did a boat come? Hope it worked out fine in the end for them.
