I've heard about three kite gear thefts around melbourne over the last wk. One house burglary, one car stolen with gear when keys were left in a bag on the beach at Altona, and one kite shop trailer full of gear.

Be vigilant guys and post on here if a second hand gear deal seems too good to be true.

got red thumbed, for sharing details of sale with I bit of humour, to most I thought it would have been obvious not dodgE..

I've had a car broken into before back in NZ, lucky not full of kites, but it still sucked ...

I also had a Kiteboard stolen and sold to cash converters for $100 , my advice is to put your details under foot pad, it doesn't wear off and if you ever have to dispute ownership it makes it easy.

Certainly not dodgy, my 6m Park arrived the other day...now ready for the next storm session.

I think leaving your kite bag on the beach is asking for trouble. Get a magnetic key box from SuperCheap auto, find a good hiding spot, put keys in it, hide and ride!!

Hey guys,
Regarding: www.windgenuity.com.au/

That 16m for $100 seems an incredibly cheap deal to give me a spare bigger kite for low wind days. Am I missing something?
I dont have a Naish kite so if anyone here does and wanted to buy it for me...... :P
