Those will be fine on a westerly as the wind will be on shore, Hampton and Brighton also work. A Westerly is onshore for most places, but I'd choose a spot with a lot of beach incase something goes amiss.

I was out in St Kilda doing jumps with my 11m Chaos when that +40knts gust hit and I had my highest jump ever! Incredibly still had control in contrast to other 9m kiters.

Almost everyone got out off the water in St Kilda before the big gust hit with those on the beach making sure everyone had help landing. The rest stayed on the water and were alright. Nobody did anything stupid........sensible people.

I got out with my 7 m after that and found myself having great fun at times and other times underpowered! Still exhilarating these conditions.
