hi there
we are a swiss couple travelling through australia. we are now in wilsons prom and travel up to brisbane in the next 30 days. we are experienced kitesurfers - but without kitesurf gear. does anybody know where to rent it? around lake entrances? or more up north?

No ... bad luck ... no rental anywhere towards East Gippsland. Nearest possible would be at Inverloch ..... maybe

And you should visit Sandy Point inlet to see where World speed records were made ........

OK. So call in to Kitepower on Botany Bay in Sydney and you may be able to rent some gear. Further north at Long Reef you have a kite shop that may also rent you some gear to kite at Narrabeen or Long Reef. Then when you hit the Gold Coast call into Surffx and see if they will. There is also another kite shop in Brisbane, BRISKITES you could try. Then further north at Caloundra there are a couple of shops, kite action and SCboardsports. Good Luck

meh. buy some cheap used stuff - there's a sh!tload of decent gear to be had for a few hundred bucks if you know what to look out for.
