kiting is permitted at all beaches from Torquay to Warnambool......except between the flags obviously.

just bare in mind that there will not be many kiters out if any at all at this time of year...........

The beaches West of Apollo Bay ( Cape Otway ) are fairly hairy and swells and rips can get massive.

I can almost guarantee you will not see a single kiter out beyond Torquay or Anglesea all the way to Warnambool. Not because there is anything wrong with the beaches but there is not a big population down that way, the water is cold and so is the air.

So just keep in mind that you may have to kite on your own at a deserted beach....or take a mate

thanks harry,
too bad was not much wind on my way to melb. i had stops at ROBE SA, beachport SA (attempted to here but wind just died as i finished pumping up), warrnambool, Torquay.. but did get to surf a few waves at Torquay despite the freezing temp.
Anyway forecast is looking good this weekend, just hope it doesnt rain too much.. maybe check out St Kilda.
