hey guys iv got a virtually brand new flashbomb 5/3 wetty which has been hung over an out door lamp and had a coke can size hole burnt right through it.. im just wondering if anyone knows of somewhere i could possibly get a major repair like that done? and maybe reviews on how it turns out if you've had one done..?

if its near new send it to rip curl in torquay as you will need a whole panel(s) replaced, wont be cheap though but then neither is that wetsuit.

your better off buying cheaper wetties for kiting any as they get trashed pretty quickly.

gotta ask why you hung it over a light though

They repaired mine, good job, good price. I'll be getting a custom wettie off them next time round rather then buying a brand.

sweet thanks guys ill look into it. i didn't hang the wetty over a light it was a house mate of mine, and then no one takes responsibly for it so its up up me to fix it.. I've also broken my neck to top it off so I've got most of winter off the water so time is not an issue.

send it to rip curl and get the job done properly. If its brand new it would be worth spending the money.. Panels aren't super expensive to replace, they have a price list available if you go to rip curl.com.au
