hi guys I am making the big move there in May just wondering what the conditions are like around that time so i can decide if i want to bring my gear along with me right away. was thinking of kiting just near the cbd area like St Kilda, as i wont have any transport my first few weeks there.

i suggest a car, you may have to travel a bit for the best spots

Winter we don't get many southerlies around St Kilda so the least will be to travel to Rosebud. So if you don't have a car don't be in a rush to bring your gear.
