This time of year leave the kite at home and go surfing. But....

If you got your balls with you go to the patch, get some photos, and watch out for sharks. Otherwise mutts or nanarup. But be prepared for flukey winds. SW'er in Albany is exactly like kiting a NW'er in Perth. East or SE is the seabreeze in summer.

It gets deep quickly so no one tacks out very far down that way..........!

HAHA Balls of steel alright!
What bene said except usually not much sand at sandpatch this time of year due to the insane winter swells, rarely gets under 6 foot and will wash you over the reef and leave you floundering as shark bait as the wind dies off closer to the massive cliff!! Not for the fainthearted, better off at nanarup or muttonies. Good luck
